Met het lidmaatschap wil het bedrijf samen met andere aanbieders bijdragen aan een veiligere online kansspelmarkt en de strijd tegen illegaal aanbod versterken.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gaming1 is daarmee het nieuwste lid van de branchevereniging voor legale online casino\u2019s in Nederland. De Belgische groep is hier actief met de online casino\u2019s Circus.nl en Casino777. VNLOK maakte de toetreding <a href=\"https:\/\/vnlok.nl\/gaming1-sluit-zich-aan-bij-vnlok\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bekend in een persbericht<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gedeelde ambities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Met het lidmaatschap voegt Gaming1 zich achter de doelstellingen van VNLOK voor een veilige, verantwoorde en goed gereguleerde online kansspelmarkt in Nederland. Voorzitter Bj\u00f6rn Fuchs noemt de aansluiting een bevestiging van het gedeelde belang dat vergunde aanbieders hechten aan spelersbescherming en een aantrekkelijk legaal aanbod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Emmanuel Mewissen, CEO van Gaming1, benadrukt dat effectieve spelersbescherming vraagt om samenwerking tussen vergunde aanbieders, beleidsmakers en de toezichthouder. Tegelijkertijd pleit hij voor krachtig optreden tegen illegale partijen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die inzet sluit aan bij de bredere strijd die VNLOK voert tegen het illegale kansspelaanbod in Nederland. De branchevereniging <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamblinginsider.com\/nl\/nieuws\/104457\/illegale-gokreclames-vnlok-jaagt-op-boete-voor-meta-na-e10-miljoen-inkomsten\">spande eerder een rechtszaak aan tegen Meta<\/a> vanwege de verspreiding van illegale gokreclames op Facebook en Instagram. Dat illegale aanbod kost de Europese markt enorme bedragen. Uit recent onderzoek blijkt dat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamblinginsider.com\/nl\/nieuws\/105937\/europa-verliest-bijna-23-miljard-vanwege-illegaal-online-gokken\">Europa jaarlijks bijna 23 miljard euro misloopt<\/a> door illegaal online gokken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Volledige eigenaar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gaming1 was al eigenaar van Casino777, dat in Nederland opereert via vergunninghouder Casino de Spa. Daarnaast bezat het bedrijf 50% van Betca, het moederbedrijf van Circus.nl. Na de overname van de resterende aandelen eind vorig jaar is Gaming1 nu volledig eigenaar van beide merken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het Belgische bedrijf beschikt over een eigen technologieplatform, een studio voor casinospellen en meer dan 40 fysieke speellocaties in Belgi\u00eb, Frankrijk en Zwitserland. In totaal telt de groep zo&#8217;n 1.650 medewerkers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Groeiende branchevereniging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gaming1 is niet het eerste nieuwe lid dat VNLOK dit jaar verwelkomt. Eerder in 2026 sloten ook 711, de ComeOn Group en Unibet (via zusterbedrijf ZEbetting) zich aan bij de branchevereniging. Die groei volgde op de fusie tussen VNLOK en voormalig branchevereniging NOGA, waarbij de naam VNLOK werd aangehouden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Met de aansluiting van steeds meer vergunde aanbieders versterkt VNLOK haar positie als vertegenwoordiger van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamblinginsider.com\/nl\/beste-online-casinos\">legale Nederlandse casino&#8217;s<\/a> op de gereguleerde markt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>De Belgische kansspelgroep Gaming1, het moederbedrijf achter Circus en 777, sluit zich aan bij VNLOK (Vergunde Nederlandse Online Kansspelaanbieders).
