Yggdrasil and Jade Rabbit depart the station in search of huge wins in Steam Spin

Yggdrasil, the leading worldwide publisher of online gambling content, and Jade Rabbit have boarded the express train to wins in new hit Steam Spin.

The 3x3, nine payline slot features classic fruit symbols, as well as golden wilds, wild multipliers and scatters which can enhance any spin.

The wild multipliers can add anything from 1x-10x on any winning line, while wilds are also key in triggering the respin feature. Any time a wild lands on the reels, it is locked in place and nudged down one position, awarding a respin. This continues until the wild disappears from view.

Wilds are also used in the SteamSpin modes, with a row above the main reel initially locked. If a wild lands on that reel, the corresponding slot is unlocked above. Once all three are open, players progress to the SteamSpin Charging mode.

This sees any multiplier wilds that land transfer their value to the top reel. If any of the above meters reaches 10x, then the SteamSpin Bonus is activated. This is a single spin played only in the SteamSpin reel, with any win multiplied by the total accumulated multipliers accrued in the SteamSpin Charging mode.

Three golden train scatters will activate the Red Hot Steamspin Bonus, which is a single spin in the SteamSpin area, with any win being multiplied by a fixed value of 33x.

In certain markets, players can progress straight to either the SteamSpin Bonus or Red Hot SteamSpin Bonus via the bonus buy option.

Steam Spin is Jade Rabbit’s third addition to the YG Masters initiative, following Jambo Cash and Word of Thoth. It is powered by GATI, with Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art technology enabling partners to employ the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to produce consistently cutting-edge content followed by rapid distribution.

Stuart McCarthy, Head of Product and Programs at Yggdrasil, said: “We’ve enjoyed success with Jade Rabbit’s releases through the program so far and are very happy to be rolling out the wild-filled new hit, Steam Spin.

“With multiple ways to trigger huge wins, players will be looking forward to the gameplay heating up in this railroad adventure.”

Roger Admeus, Managing Director at Jade Rabbit Studio, said: “Working with the YG Masters program allows us to focus on creating innovative, exciting games that bring genuinely different experiences to players. Steam Spin is another example of this and we are very pleased with the result of this feature-filled title which takes the gaming experience to the next level.”
