The Swedish-based supplier completed its technical integration with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) through an agreement with US supplier IGT.
As a result, NetEnt has been able to launch a number of games for the first time in the Canadian market through the IGT Connect integration layer provided to the BCLC.
The BCLC is a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA), the industry organisation for state authorised lotteries around the world.
Therese Hillman, Group CEO of NetEnt, commented: “Launching our games to players in British Columbia is an important milestone for us in our expansion in North America.
“Entering regulated markets is a vital part of our strategy going forward, especially within the WLA segment. I am sure that our exciting games will be much appreciated by BCLC’s players.”
Other NetEnt ventures during a busy September include launching games in Lithuania and Norway, as well as beta-launching its new affiliate business, appointing an interim CFO and applying for a Pennsylvania gaming licence.
