Vermantia launches Maltco's bespoke horseracing channel

Monday 18th February 2019
THIS IS A PRESS RELEASE AND/OR ADVERTORIAL

Vermantia, leader in omni-channel content solutions, has launched its live horse racing channel in Malta with Maltco Lotteries – the largest retail network in the country.

The bespoke channel, which extends Vermantia’s successful partnership with Intralot, features a daily schedule of action-packed horse racing from the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, India and South Africa available from Vermantia and Arena Racing Company, the largest racecourse group in the UK.

It provides fully localised production within Malta, backed up by Vermantia’s complete data service. The channel is further complemented by Intralot’s risk management central system, providing maximum security and stability and delivered via Vermantia’s streaming solution.

Spyros Stavropoulos, Regional Director SEE & Africa of Vermantia, said: “It’s fantastic that we can now bring our live horse racing channel to Malta for the first time. It provides a one of a kind bespoke service for clients like Maltco Lotteries, whilst also helping them diversify their product offering, and gives their customers great incentives to have a bet.”

George P. Vassilaras, Group Strategic Accounts Director at Intralot, added: “This is the latest move in a very successful partnership between Vermantia and Intralot. Their horse racing channel boasts live pictures from all over the world which our risk management services complement perfectly.”

Vasileios Kasiotakis, CEO of Maltco Lotteries Limited was similarly pleased with the announcement, adding: “Vermantia’s horse racing channel is a major leap forward through the vast number of horse racing offerings in Malta, adding value to the entertainment of players and to the benefit of our Agents. We are extremely proud to be the only operator to offer it to customers in Malta.”
