NetEnt partners with DraftKings in New Jersey

NetEnt has signed an online casino supplier agreement with DraftKings in New Jersey, having been awarded a permanent license for the state in February.

Operator DraftKings has enjoyed a successful start to life in the Garden State, partnering with Resorts Digital, which has generated the second-highest amount of sports betting revenue in New Jersey since the PASPA repeal.

DraftKings also signed a New Jersey live casino deal with Evolution Gaming in January.

At ICE London, CEO Jason Robins explained to Gambling Insider this change in approach was down to consumer demand, with the operator not originally planning to enter the casino vertical.

Through its new partnership with NetEnt, DraftKings will now offer a "large selection of NetEnt casino games" to its players.

Originally one of two market-leading fantasy sports operators, DraftKings' large fantasy database is something supplier NetEnt is keen to utilise.

Erik Nyman, Managing Director NetEnt Americas, said:  "We are very excited to have landed a deal with DraftKings. As the world leader in fantasy sports, with a large player base, they will add a new dimension to the market and we are confident their players will enjoy our popular games."
