BiG Africa Roadshow Cape Town took place last week, on the 4th of October at the beautiful Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa.
Eventus International is proud to host some of the most esteemed local and international industry speakers and to offer participants a valuable networking platform.
Attendees were welcomed with welcome gifts containing proudly South African "biltong" and "droëwors" and the eventful day started off with a networking coffee session. The Roadshow then kicked off with a keynote address based on an update on Remote Gaming in South Africa by Dean Macpherson, Department of Trade & Industry.
This informative presentation was followed by a lively panel discussion on Online Gambling in South Africa, moderated by Dean Macpherson, Shadow Minister of The Department for Trade & Industry of South Africa. The significant discourse was panelled by Jason Foster, Co-Founder & Head of iGaming, Chalkline Sports, Adheera Bodasing, Managing Director, Polarity Consulting, Nkoatse Ernest Mashamaite, Director: Gambling Law and Policy, The Department for Trade & Industry, South Africa and Mark Tipping, Director, Eazibet.
The discussion saw some fantastic dialogue between Nkoatse Ernest Mashamaite and Dean Macpherson and created an opportunity for the audience to ask questions and engage in an important dialogue with the key industry-leading members.
Towards the afternoon the delegates sat down for some insightful discussions at roundtables hosted by Garron Whitesman, Partner, Whitesman Lurie Attorneys, Joe Kustelski, Co-founder, Chalkline Sports, and Lee-Anne Johnstone, CEO & Founder, AffiliateINSIDER.
The event ended off with networking drinks next to the harbour with a stunning view of Table Mountain and the Atlantic ocean.
