Connect with the best at SBC Digital Summit North America

SBC Digital Summit North America is set to provide a valuable forum for sportsbook and casino operators to connect with suppliers and affiliates, thanks to its advanced networking and expo offerings.

SBCConnect

The event, which takes place on July 14-16 2020, is the North American edition of SBC’s virtual conference and exhibition series. The events stand out from the crowd of webinar-style online conferences by also delivering many of the other key benefits that delegates would expect from a good physical trade show, including high-level networking opportunities and an interactive expo hall showcasing some of the latest industry innovations.

While measures designed to slow the spread of COVID-19 have effectively ruled out traditional business networking events, the SBC team saw no reason that the restrictions should prevent connection and communication in the digital age. Instead they set about devising several alternative networking formats that would deliver similar value to delegates, and these proved very successful at earlier events in the series.

One of them is the program of themed networking sessions that runs throughout the three days of the event and provides delegates with a simple way to connect with fellow attendees who have an interest in a particular vertical or regional market. The Zoom-based group discussions planned for SBC Digital Summit North America include sessions on innovation in sports betting and fantasy sports, tribal gaming, sports sponsorship, the future of the Canadian gaming, women in the gaming industry, opportunities in Latin America, and developments in the New Jersey market.

These sessions are open to all delegates to attend and each of them has a selection of featured guests, who will lead the initial discussion before it moves on to an open discussion. Those guests include senior executives from Wynn Resorts, GVC Holdings, Caesars Entertainment, Philadelphia Eagles, Roar Digital, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, the Missouri Lottery, Gateway Casinos, Pollard Banknote Limited, and The Innovation Group.

Delegates will have further opportunities to make new connections during workshops, using the event platform’s one-to-one chat function, and in the virtual networking bar sponsored by Betfred USA Sports.

The virtual exhibition hall offers another great platform to meet and interact with some of the world’s leading suppliers. The interactive booths feature videos, downloadable product information, and the facility to have a conversation with staff, ask questions, request product demonstrations and organise meetings.

Exhibitors include Stats Perform, BetConstruct, Neosurf, SportsBooth, SportCaller, and USAbility Digital. The suppliers will also be taking part in a program of product presentations and Q&As throughout the event, as they showcase their latest innovations to the North American market.

In more normal times, physical trade shows are the setting for decision makers to cast their eye over new products and services that could give their sportsbook or casino a competitive advantage. With such events currently postponed, the SBC Digital Summit North America expo’s proven format promises to be a valuable alternative for both suppliers and operators.

Jaap Kalma, SBC’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We've been working very hard to create and refine a virtual environment that allows us to replicate many of the most important functions of the networking and exhibition elements of the very best physical trade shows.

“By facilitating connection and communication between stakeholders from across the betting & gaming industry, we can help companies to continue doing business during what is a challenging period for everyone.”

In addition to the networking opportunities and virtual expo, SBC Digital Summit North America delegates can benefit from the insights and ideas of 75 senior executive speakers during the five-track virtual conference, which focuses on Online, Regulatory, Land-Based, Sports, and Innovation.
