Amelco signs US multi-state Continent 8 Technologies deal

Amelco, the leading sports betting software and trading services provider, has partnered with data centre provider Continent 8 Technologies in a move that solidifies its growing US presence.

Amelco

Enabling the provider to securely manage its US operation through scalable hosted infrastructure and cybersecurity protected connectivity, Amelco has gone from strength-to-strength on the continent following the repeal of PASPA in 2018.

The deal will see data for Amelco’s four US jurisdictions, including New Jersey, Indiana, Tennessee and Colorado, managed and hosted in-state through Continent 8’s network to comply with local regulatory requirements for customer data.

The agreement will also allow Amelco to manage its entire collection of US customers under a singular umbrella, with the data centres providing premium connectivity and bandwidth resilience, as well as the capacity to instantly scale across new states.

Commenting on the deal, Brandon Walker, Head of Business Development at Amelco said: “We are very pleased to partner with Continent 8, who are unmatched in the industry when it comes to data centre services.

“As we continue to expand across the US, it is vital we have the infrastructure in place to allow us to remain compliant, as well as the facilities to scale up our operations rapidly. We’re confident that Continent 8 is proven to do that better than anyone else out there, and we’re looking forward to working together.”

Nick Nally, Managing Director for the Americas, Continent 8 Technologies added: “Amelco has a reputation as a leading supplier in the industry and we are delighted to be working with them as they expand across the states.

“Enabling our partners to achieve their goals across regulated states is something we strive to do and Amelco has impressive plans. We look forward to a long and successful partnership together as we support their rapid growth across new jurisdictions.”

The supplier of choice for the U.S. industry’s multi-territory tier one operators, including Flutter Entertainment and FOX Bet, Amelco has more than decade of experience in supplying bespoke enterprise sports betting and trading platforms to the world’s leading betting brands.

It celebrated its latest regulatory approval in Colorado at the start of July, with additional licences from soon-to-be regulated states expected in the near future.
