11 January – Ohio: Catena Media records highest launch period in a US state
Preliminary data from Catena showed that new registrations for licensed online sports betting in Ohio led to its highest engagement levels for a launch period, even surpassing New York in January 2022.

8 February – Gambling.com Group teams up with Gannett to release exclusive content
As part of the deal, Gambling.com Group would be able to release customized and relevant content to a wider base of sports fans, as it looked to continue its ongoing US expansion plan.

20 February – PartnerMatrix appoints Vahe Khalatyan as its new CEO
Everymatrix subsidiary, PartnerMatrix, promoted Khalatyan from the position of Chief Technical Officer to its new CEO.

4 May – QuinnBet partners with Peterborough United
As part of the deal, QuinnBet advertisements would be placed around Peterborough United’s Stadium, as well as in the matchday programme.

9 May – BettingLadies.com launches as first all-female sports betting affiliate site
The website provides sports betting news, odds, statistics and information from a team of women writers.

16 June – ELA Games partners with EveryMatrix
The agreement saw ELA Games’ slots made available to EveryMatrix operator partners.

27 June – KaFe Rocks rebrands as Time2Play Media
The idea behind the change in name from KaFe Rocks was part of a commitment to a new era of growth and innovation.

29 June – Softswiss integrates Livespins on its casino platform
This allowed players to select a streamer on a casino website and place bets on that streamer’s game outcome.

11 July – Gambling.com Group announces partnership with The Independent
Gambling.com Group would deliver content relating to iGaming, sports betting and fantasy daily sports through a dedicated section on The Independent website.

31 July – Playmaker hails Messi’s MLS impact, as significant web traffic influxes are seen
Playmaker Capital released figures, showing that Lionel Messi had singlehandedly been responsible for Apple TV’s MLS Pass subscriber base increasing by 43% overall, after his move to Inter Miami.

28 September - BlueChip Partners launches in Bangladesh
BlueChip Partners’ expansion into Bangladesh marked its fifth country internationally that the scheme was available in at the time.

14 December – Pariplay partners with Slots Temple to expand UK offering
Pariplay launched its Fusion content in the UK’s regulated market as part of the deal, bringing a variety of games from Pariplay’s in-house studio, Wizard Games.
