Betradar agree Svenska Spel deal

The product is a fully automated and integrated in-running trading solution offering a variety of live betting sports and markets.

Svenska Spel began its search for a live odds partner via a public tender in March 2013 before selecting Betradar two months later.

Other Scandinavian state lotteries such as Veikkaus and Norsk Tipping already utilise Betradar’s Live Odds Service.

Svenska Spel product manager for live betting Lennart Nilsson said: “Svenska Spel has offered live betting since 2005 and to this date has done so solely by using internal resources.

“The market demand has stretched Svenska Spel’s resources to the limit and we are now at a situation where Svenska Spel needs to extend the offer without increasing the use of internal resources.”

Erik Lorenz, managing director of sales at Sportradar, added: “We are convinced that together we can shape future developments and play an active part in the creation of an even more exciting live betting offering for the Swedish market.”
