Online casino and software provider Pragmatic Play has been awarded a Supplier License by The Bahamas gaming control board becoming one of the first iGaming providers to do so.
Pragmatic Play currently operates in 78 countries and has a gaming catalogue with over 70 desktop gaming titles and over 80 mobile games. It has partnerships with Mr Green, Betsson, LeoVegas, Slotsmillion and Interwetten.
The firm currently holds licences to operate in Italy, Malta, Romania and secured a remote licence from the UK Gambling Commission earlier this year.
Announcing the license award, Yossi Barzely, Head of Business Development at Pragmatic Play said: “The Bahamas license represents another step forward in our global strategy to capitalize on the increasing regulation in local markets.
This allows us to service even these niche jurisdictions with ‘go-to’ gaming products from day one and continue to help our customers increase revenues.”
