2015/16 Premier league title winners Leicester City FC have announced that Dafabet will be their new Official betting partner.

Dafabet is an international online gaming operator based in the Philippines who add Leicester to a long list of sport sponsorship deals. Most famously they signed Alan Shearer as a brand ambassador in 2011.

John Cruces, Head of Sports Marketing and Sponsorship at Dafabet, said: “As we enter the start of the 2017/18 season, we’re very happy to have now partnered up with Leicester City. Everyone is aware the Club are one of the six teams to have won the Premier League, the most watched football league in the world. What many won’t know is the level of support worldwide they’re now attracting is one of the fastest growing in the game.”

The new two-year deal will see the English Premier League team have adverts around their 32,000 seated King Power Stadium. Dafabet will gain great exposure around the world as a result of the clubs international presence and recent fairy-tale success.

Leicester fans will also be cheering as the deal will see the betting operator offer match day specials for the club including improved odds and bonuses.

Leicester City’s Head of Partnership Engagement, Harj Hir, said: “We’re delighted to establish this partnership with Dafabet who already have a strong presence in the sports industry. We have a fan base of more than 10,000,000 supporters around the globe on our social media channels – the seventh largest in the Premier League, and in partnership with Dafabet, we look forward to using this platform to work together towards achieving our collective goals through engagement.”
