IGT to provide PlayDigital solution to Veikkaus
International Game Technology (IGT) and Veikkaus have announced a partnership which will see the supplier launch its remote game server and casino content with the Finland state operator.
The partnership allows the operator and World Lottery Association (WLA) member to have access to IGT PlayRGS and its PlayCasino content, through the supplier’s PlayDigital solution.
The PlayRGS remote game server installation includes maintenance, monitoring and support, along with access to the complete library of IGT PlayCasino content.
As well as now providing a single integration to an array of slots and poker games, IGT also provides Veikkaus with its PlayBingo digital bingo solution, core lottery central system, sports betting, and land-based slot machines.
PlayRGS is currently supplied to fellow WLA members such as Svenska Spel, Norsk Tipping and Danske Spil.

Earlier this month, IGT announced a deal to sell 100% of its Italian B2C sports betting, gaming machine and digital gaming businesses for €950m ($1.15bn).
The deal allows IGT to reduce its debt, with net debt standing at $7.24bn as of 30 September, as its Q3 revenue fell 15% year-on-year down to $982m.
