QuinnCasino becomes Dundee United’s main shirt sponsor
Dundee United has named QuinnCasino the club’s new front of shirt sponsor, replacing distillers Eden Mill St Andrews.
The top-flight Scottish football club has signed a new agreement for the upcoming 2022/23 season that will see the iGaming brand’s logo emblazoned on the men’s first team home and away kits.
QuinnCasino, the online casino arm of sports betting brand QuinnBet, will also benefit from advertising across “a number of key touch points” at Dundee United’s home ground, Tannadice Park.
The iGaming brand will further support the work of the Community Sports Trust, promoting education and awareness around responsible gambling.
QuinnBet Managing Director Stephen Kelly said: “Like Dundee United, we have big ambitions. Our brands QuinnBet and QuinnCasino are enjoying great support in Scotland, and we are excited to be a part of Dundee United’s journey for the season ahead.
“We are also very keen to work with Dundee United Community Trust promoting wellbeing, education and awareness around gambling.”
Dundee United is the first club in Scotland to sign QuinnCasino as its front of shirt partner, though QuinnBet does sponsor fellow Scottish Premiership side Hibernian FC.
Eden Mill, meanwhile, will step down as Dundee United’s main shirt sponsor, but will remain as an associate partner in the club’s new partnership structure.
“We are the first club in Scotland to secure a major agreement with QuinnCasino and we feel there will be significant benefits for Dundee United and the wider community from this sponsorship,” said Elliot Shaw, Head of Commercial and Sponsorship at Dundee United.
“QuinnCasino has expressed a clear desire to work closely with the Dundee United family and we look forward to welcoming them on board.”
