Caesars Racebook app makes debut in Florida and Ohio

The app, Caesars Racebook, is a collaboration between Caesars Sportsbook and the New York Racing Association (NYRA) via its online wagering platform NYRA Bets.

Together they developed the app which is now available to download on iOS for horseracing fans in the Sunshine and Buckeye States.

Caesars Racebook uses the NYRA Bets platform to offer bettors pari-mutuel wagering options on horseracing content from more than 250 tracks.

These include Belmont Park, Saratoga Race Course and Santa Anita, as well as Caesars-operated tracks like Horseshoe Indianapolis and Harrah’s Philadelphia.

NYRA Bets’ General Manager, Matt Feig, said: “The new Caesars Racebook app, which utilises the NYRA Bets interface and technology, will expand access to world-class horseracing now and in the future.

“The partnership between NYRA Bets and Caesars is a win for horseracing, its stakeholders and countless racetracks around the world.”

Caesars and the NYRA unveiled a partnership in January that established the former as an official sports betting marketing partner in New York and the title sponsor of the NYRA Turf Triple Series at Belmont Park and Saratoga.

Racebook was subsequently announced in March. Caesars said it has plans to add additional states throughout the year.

“The launch of Caesars Racebook is an important milestone as we continue to add wagering opportunities for our customers and livestreaming content for the first time,” said Dan Shapiro, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer of Caesars Digital.

He added: “We look forward to welcoming new horseracing customers and existing fans onto the platform and to working with NYRA Bets to grow horseracing as we deploy Caesars Racebook with plans to launch in about 30 states across the country.”
