Optx expands into Canada, names JP Symeonidis VP of Sales
Gaming technology company Optx has begun its expansion into Canada, appointing JP Symeonidis as VP of Sales for the region.
Symeonidis has extensive industry experience, working in the gaming tech space for 16 years.
Optx Co-CEO Brooke Fiumara said: “Considering the success Optx has had across the states, the decision to expand to Canada was a no-brainer.
“JP is the perfect puzzle piece fit for VP of Sales in Canada. His lengthy resume is only outweighed by the connections he has forged during his time in the gaming tech industry.”
Symeonidis previously served as Director of Sales for Amaya, where he promoted the business across Europe, Canada and the Caribbean, while also working to acquire a $4.9bn business within five years.
He subsequently worked at Scientific Games, where his time was cut short by the pandemic and resulting shutdown of Canada’s economy.
Symeonidis said: “I love the forward-thinking and innovative nature of Optx.
