FanDuel TV launches with host Kay Adams confirmed
Flutter Entertainment-owned FanDuel Group has confirmed the launch of its FanDuel TV service, which will include a broadly distributed linear cable television network as well as its over-the-top platform (OTT), FanDuel+.
Both services are expected to go live in September, with the two set to become the first linear/digital network dedicated to sports betting content.
FanDuel+ will be available free for current FanDuel customers with accounts on its sportsbook, casino, horseracing or daily fantasy platforms.
Media personality Kay Adams has been named as the FanDuel TV network headliner, where she will host a live daily morning show.
The hour-long show will be broadcast Monday to Friday, featuring guests from across the sports and entertainment industries. Daily shows will also be made available on YouTube and other social media channels.
FanDuel CCO Mike Raffensperger said: “FanDuel TV is the first network designed from the ground up to be watched by viewers with their phone in hand.
“We intend for FanDuel TV to sit at the intersection of live sports and interactive content and believe Kay is the best example of an on-air talent who can bring fans closer to the narratives of the games they care about most.
“Our goal is to provide fans compelling programming to watch and wager on in tandem with our mobile app.”
Further additions to the FanDuel TV line-up include Pat McAfee, who will produce original content for the network and Lisa Kerney, who will continue to host her sports betting show ‘More Ways to Win.’
Via its ongoing partnership with Sportradar, both FanDuel TV and FanDuel+ will broadcast over 3,000 hours of live sports, including basketball from Australian, Chinese, French and German top leagues.
