RubyPlay gains Romanian licence

The licence represents the company’s ongoing international expansion strategy to enter regulated markets worldwide.

The Romanian regulator Oficiul National Pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN) has granted B2B iGaming developer RubyPlay a licence to offer its games portfolio in the country’s regulated online market.

Through its wide slot library, which includes Royal Gryphon, Diamond Explosion 7s and Shake Shake Money Tree for the country’s regulated online operators, partners, and players, Romania presents considerable potential clients for RubyPlay to maintain its growth trajectory.

Trevor Ginsberg, CEO of RubyPlay, said: “We are really pleased to have secured this licence to enter Romania and introduce players to the globally recognised RubyPlay experience.

“We firmly believe our games are a strong fit for the market, particularly as the top performing games in Romania feature jackpots and hold and respin mechanics, both of which are incorporated within many of our own titles.”

Meanwhile, RubyPlay and LeoVegas signed content agreements last week.

Through this collaboration, LeoVegas brands will have access to games from the iGaming developer.

The games will be included using Relax Gaming’s content aggregation platform, which will subsequently be made available to Royal Panda and other LeoVegas brands.
