Career Highlights
Walter Bugno has had a diverse and exciting career across multiple sectors. In 1998, he became Managing Director of Lion Nathan, and in 2006, he became CEO of Tabcorp Holdings’ Casino Division.
One of Bugno’s most prominent career moves came in June 2010, when he was appointed the President and CEO of Gtech S.p.A. (now rebranded as IGT), the world-renowned international gambling company specializing in slot machines and gambling technology.
Walter held his position at Gtech for 10 years before the company merged with IGT, and then served as CEO of IGT International before becoming Executive Vice President of New Business and Strategic Initiatives.
In 2021, Walter announced his resignation from IGT before taking the reins as Games Global’s CEO.
