MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Janér's career is marked by a series of achievements in the areas of tech and esports. Most notably, as the Co-Founder and former CTO of Abios, Janér has played a pivotal role in developing esports solutions and contributing to the company's growth and global reach.
Ultimately, this culminated in Janér being appointed to the role of Abios’ Managing Director in May 2024 – a role that he still currently holds for the company.
EMPLOYMENT
During his time at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology studying for his Bachelor's and subsequent Master's of Engineering in Industrial Engineering & Management, Janér took his first steps into the world of work.
He started out at mySafety AB, where he worked as a Salesperson from September 2010 to February 2011. Here, he was responsible for selling insurance as well as a variety of everyday safety products.
Immediately after this, Janér took on an internship role as an Analyst for Brummer & Partners, where he honed his skills in the realms of analysis and research.
His next move saw him working for Collin and Client, a relationship marketing company based in Stockholm. Janér stayed with the company for a year and a half before moving on in January 2013.
Shortly after, in April 2013, Janér took a more entrepreneurial path when he co-founded Abios – now an esports subsidiary of Kambi Group. He would finish his Engineering degree three years later, in 2016.
Initially serving as the company's Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Anton played a pivotal role in developing Abios' esports solutions. His understanding of technology and the esports market helped propel Abios to success in the industry, ultimately reaching millions of esports customers worldwide.
Following many years in the CTO role for the company, it was announced in May 2024 that Janér had been appointed as the company’s Managing Director – succeeding the long-serving CEO, Oskar Bonnevier Fröberg.
