PointsBet announces Chicago Bears partnership

Sports betting operator PointsBet has announced a new partnership with the Chicago Bears.

NFL

Through the agreement, PointsBet will become the NFL team’s first sports betting sponsor. The operator will benefit from full usage of the Bears’ IP, marks and logos, in addition to sponsorship opportunities to increase brand exposure.

PointsBet will also be offering Bears fans a unique sign-up code for its mobile app and access to special promotions.

Commenting on the new partnership, Johnny Aitken, PointsBet US CEO, said: “The PointsBet team is incredibly excited to become the first legal sportsbook partner in Chicago Bears history.

“We are teaming up with a first-class organisation, supported by extremely passionate fans.

“Since launching our fast and differentiated mobile sports betting app in Illinois, we've been thrilled by the reception from Chicago sports bettors.”

PointsBet recently launched its mobile and digital product in Illinois, and is soon to go live with its retail offering in the state of Chicago.

Last week, PointsBet struck a similar sports betting deal with the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL. The operator already has partnerships with the Detroit Tigers in MLB, Indiana Pacers and Denver Nuggets in the NBA, and Colorado Avalanche in NHL.
