Gaming Group has appointed Hamish Brown as group chief operating officer.

Brown has 18 years' experience in the gaming industry in various operational and commercial roles, including national support management and channel management for land-based gaming systems from his time at IGT (Australia) and projects with Aristocrat and Tabcorp.

He made the transition to online gaming in 2008 as COO and general manager of NextGen Gaming, which is the Sydney-based game development studio of NYX.

NYX Gaming Group CEO Matt Davey said: "It gives me great pleasure to promote from within the business as our talented staff continue to grow and deliver excellent value to the company.

“Hamish provides NYX a wealth of experience and a certain confidence from his years of proven leadership at NextGen.”
