The company aims to develop and strengthen its international presence and increase its expertise in digitalisation technologies, such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Data Science & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robot Process Automation (RPA).
Before its launch in Portugal, the company’s main markets were in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Cyprus and the Middle East; the company earned a third of its revenue from those markets alone.
iMovo says prior to the pandemic, Portugal was identified as one of Europe’s fastest-growing economies.
While the first employee in the new market joined at the beginning of December, additional staff will begin their work in Q1 2021.
Managing Director of iMovo Limited Pierre Mallia said: "Internationalisation has been on the company agenda since day one, when we first started up some 10 years ago. We are thrilled to be entering the Portuguese market and to be working in partnership with some really interesting companies there, about which we’ll make some announcements later on.”
