The role encompasses leading the supplier's commercial casino, hotel and club sales strategy in the region.
Robertson joins IGT from Aristocrat after a nine-year spell with the company, where his most recent role was director of sales.
Before his career in sales, Robertson was an operator in the hotel and club sector for over 12 years.
