Leeds United partners with Paysafe-owned Skrill

Leeds United has teamed up with digital payments company, Skrill, owned by Paysafe Group, which works closely with the gambling sector.

The sponsorship deal will be activated immediately and will be evident in Leeds United’s home game tomorrow afternoon.

Skrill provide a platform which supports multiple payment methods in over 120 countries. The deal would mean  Leeds United can promote its brand to millions of Skrill users across the globe.

As part of the deal, Skrill will become a live payments option on Leeds United’s global online store. Skrill will see its name promoted across all online channels including the website and mobile app.

Skrill branding will also be displayed via LED across the football clubs stadium, which will be seen by nearly 38,000 in the stadium and millions who watch live games at home.

Leeds also currently works with gambling operator SBOTOP, which is the club's prinicipal partner and shirt sponsor.

“With the eagerly anticipated return of fan presence at football stadiums and the incredible season which Leeds United is having, I can’t think of a more exciting time for Skrill to be entering into this partnership.”
