Sattar co-founded Sightline Payments in 2011 to help consumers safely and securely fund their online gaming experience. Prior to founding Sightline, he served as SVP, Cash Access Services for Global Cash Access.

Since 2011, Sattar has served as EVP and his vision resulted in partnerships to adopt digital payments acceptance in gaming, including recent deals with Resorts World Las Vegas and Boyd Gaming. Across his career, Omer Sattar has driven product innovations that unlocked new abilities for customers to access funds worldwide.

Joe Pappano, Sightline’s Co-CEO, commented: “Omer has been an innovator in the gaming industry for more than 15 years, and our shared vision and complementary skill sets will further accelerate Sightline’s growth.

“With many projecting the North American gaming market to grow to more than $100bn over the next few years, the timing of this move allows Sightline to focus our resources on meeting the incredible demand we are seeing in the market.”

Omer Sattar added: “My goal is to ensure that Sightline has the best, most innovative product suite in the industry. I am humbled by the opportunity to drive this business forward alongside Joe and provide gaming’s consumers with the same payment options that they have in their daily lives.”

Sightline recently acquired Joingo, the casino gaming industry mobile engagement and loyalty platform. The company also closed a $100m funding round in April, followed by a recent $224m round.
