Bet365 doubles New Jersey casino welcome bonus from $500 to $1,000

Bet365 has upped its new customer offer for casino in the state of New Jersey from $500 to $1,000.

Bet365Offer

The operator previously had a 100% matched welcome bonus in place for deposits of up to $500.

Now, though, the brand is looking to win more market share by doubling that offer, which also signals the big marketing plays being utilised in key US digital markets such as New Jersey. Naturally, certain terms and conditions apply.

In the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement's report into September 2021 gross gaming revenue, Hard Rock Atlantic City (under which Bet365 operates alongside Unibet and hardrockcasino.com) published $5.8m in gaming win.

For the year-to-date, total internet gaming win stood at $51.7m by the end of September.

By comparison, sites associated with Golden Nugget (GNOG among others), Caesars Entertainment (Caesars among others), Borgata (Borgata and BetMGM among others), Tropicana (William Hill among others) and Resorts Digital (DraftKings among others) have all generated greater tallies.

The New Jersey market is currently flying, with $1bn recently being surpassed in monthly online sports betting handle, while online casino revenue has also soared on regular occasions.

When it comes to digital betting in the US, BetMGM, FanDuel and DraftKings are traditionally associated with being market leaders.

Bet365 will no doubt aim to secure far more of the Garden State's market share with this new casino customer offer, however. It should prove a tough ask but the operator is no stranger to carving out market-leading positions – although this is traditionally more to do with the sports betting market.
