EveryMatrix has applied for licences in West Virginia and Michigan as it looks to grow its US footprint.

Both states have enacted legislation permitting online casinos and sports betting, and as such, they are highly attractive markets for any online gambling company — including EveryMatrix.

The iGaming platform provider is currently in “multiple commercial negotiations” that are “rapidly advancing” and to support its sales pipeline, EveryMatrix is seeking licences in West Virginia and Michigan, after fulfilling its licence requirements in New Jersey.

“To support our business advances and multi-state partnerships, we have now filed licence applications in West Virginia and Michigan,” remarked Erik Nyman, President of EveryMatrix Americas.

“This follows our clear path and ambition to be live with our technology and products in states that allow for a full casino and sports betting offering. I am very pleased with EveryMatrix’s progress in the US and am looking forward to an exciting 2022.”

This announcement came after EveryMatrix published its financial results for Q3, in which it highlighted US business as a key driver of growth.

Through agreements with tier-one operators like Resorts Digital Gaming and Kindred Group, as well as payment providers such as PXP Financial and Nuvei, EveryMatrix was able to expand its North American footprint during the third quarter.

At the time, EveryMatrix Group CEO Ebbe Groes said: “Our expansion plan for the highly attractive US market is progressing very well. We now have an office, an experienced team, a pipeline that is delivering sales and we continue to advance with the licensing process.”

Moreover, the provider strengthened its Miami office in November with the appointment of Greg Ivry as Business Development Manager.
