Kambi and NorthStar Gaming agree sports betting partnership in Canada

Kambi Group and NorthStar Gaming have agreed a long-term partnership, in which an enhanced sport betting service will be launched to customers in Canada.

Launching first in the province of Ontario, the new sportsbook will be delivered through NorthStar Gaming’s brand, with the operator implementing Kambi’s sports wagering product this year. Kambi, a provider of sports betting and technology services to 35 brands globally, was selected by the Canadian operator after a lengthy evaluation process.

In addition to boosting its sports betting portfolio, NorthStar Gaming will also have access to Kambi’s technology solutions, media websites, sports data and social media platforms to provide its customers with an all-encompassing betting experience.

Kambi, which is of Scandinavian heritage though headquartered in Malta and London, built up a reputation initially through its ice hockey betting products. Currently, the brand partners with the likes of Kindred Group, LeoVegas, Penn National Gaming and Rush Street Interactive.
