Pronet Gaming’s solutions for a changing world

Amid all of the continued difficulties worldwide posed by the pandemic, last year was a resounding success business-wise for Pronet Gaming.

Thanks to a combination of factors, we were able to announce late in 2021 that we had hit our three-year growth target 18 months ahead of schedule. A major driver of this rapid progress was the popularity of our platform solutions across global markets and particularly in Africa and LatAm. Having signed with more than 35 clients in a year-and-a-half, we have witnessed a two-fold rise in turnover.

Successful and rapidly executed content integrations with leading providers including Golden Race, UltraPlay and Sportradar have boosted our product range across the growing verticals of esports and virtual sports, both of which have reached increased and enduring levels of prominence as a result of the pandemic.

We have also been able to offer our customers an entirely modular platform solution, which has served us well across regions that have vast cultural differences and preferences. Operators utilising our system are able to cherry-pick those sports they feel will particularly appeal to their customers, creating differentiation in the marketplace and increasing engagement levels through a more attractive experience.

Our overarching strategy is to provide the most effective tools for customisation, combining them with speed-to-market capabilities and product innovation. In one with those objectives, we launched a range of widgets, Popular Bets and Popular Events, in October of last year. These allow operators to show the top-10 bets and events in a particular market, automatically refreshing at five-minute intervals.

Being able to offer customers an intuitive, innovative solution for boosting engagement was satisfying and it meant that with minimal effort on behalf of operators, they were safe in the knowledge that players would be constantly shown the most popular events and bets at any given moment. It was also vital in creating a hassle-free, personalised engagement tool that Popular Bets and Popular Events could auto-populate according to the requirements of a particular operator’s market.

We also recently integrated LSports’ BetBooster tool onto our platform, offering AI-powered automated betting tips that can be integrated directly onto customer betting slips. We have already seen an uptick in engagement levels from bettors where these tips are displayed, and we look forward to providing further points of differentiation for our operator partners across 2022.

New recruits

In terms of new deals we have struck in recent months, Tenlot stands out in particular as the first we have signed with a major, dedicated national and regional lotteries operator. It was very much a gateway deal, opening up new opportunities for business that contributed in a major way to our success. The launch of truenorth.net in Canada, using our platform, was another particular highlight. It showed that we were able to rise to the challenge of powering a new brand for an operator that has won a hard-earned reputation as the country’s most legitimate brand in the face of unregulated competition. Adhering to such a strict regulatory framework was not an easy task, but in implementing local responsible gaming requirements, data protection, self-exclusion and anti-spam laws, we demonstrated the flexibility and market specificity of our platform.

This year is bookended by major football tournaments, which will be a key focus for the majority of our operator partners. At the time of writing, the latter stages of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations is being played out in Cameroon, while later this year we will see the World Cup heading to Qatar. Once again, in order to continue exceeding growth expectations, we will be looking to develop new solutions that help operators engage and entertain. Coming in the middle of the regular European football season, the 2022 FIFA World Cup promises to be a tournament like no other for a multitude of reasons.

While there has been plenty of controversy surrounding the staging of the competition, I am certain that as we get closer to the opening game on November 21, excitement will hit fever pitch. Our job is to make sure operators are well-set to provide the best possible offering before and during the competition and we are already working diligently behind the scenes to ensure that is the case.
