A subsidiary of Endeavor, IMG Arena is a sports data and betting technology supplier, with access to the rights of over 80 professional sporting leagues and organisations.

Through its IMG Arena Alliance network, 460 sportsbook brands have signed up to license the supplier’s portfolio of live streaming rights.

Starting with the 2022/23 Canadian basketball season, IMG Arena will be able to distribute audio-visual sports betting data from NBL Canada to its network of sportsbook partners. These include OpenBet, Kambi Group, SBTech and Paddy Power.

For NBL Canada, it represents an opportunity to grow the reach of a league that has suffered three injury-hit seasons due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

NBL Canada VP of Operations Audley Stephenson commented: “This is an important step for NBL Canada as we move into the sports betting realm and it's an honour to do so with such a respected and experienced partner in this space.”

In total, IMG Arena delivers data feeds and live streaming functionality for more than 45,000 sports events each year. The supplier also develops analysis tools to help professional teams and sports organisations improve performance.

IMG Arena Rights Director Mark Wrigley said: “NBL Canada is an established organisation with an exciting brand. We are delighted it has chosen IMG Arena to work with it on its entry into sports betting and look forward to building a strong relationship to help grow its offering and audience by engaging fans around the world.”
