IGT expands Asian footprint in deal with Philippine casino

Nustar Resort and Casino in Cebu is slated to open its doors later this year, now with IGT’s CMS, which it will purportedly use to build customer loyalty, facilitate day-to-day operations and leverage performance analytics.

This deal also positions Nustar to offer cashless gaming via IGT’s “Resort Wallet” technology, and will see the soon-to-open casino-resort become the first in Asia to deploy IGT’s Peak49 cabinet.

This announcement comes not long after IGT published its first quarter financial results, noting 4% year-on-year revenue growth.

Moreover, by agreeing to supply its CMS to Nustar, IGT has expanded its presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

This follows on from a six-year contract signed in March between IGT, via its Global Services subsidiary, and Singapore Pools.
