Baha Mar partners with rum brand co-owned by Bruno Mars
Caribbean resort and casino Baha Mar has announced a new brand partnership that will see it work closely with American singer Bruno Mars.
The star co-owns SelvaRey Rum, which has been named a premier partner of the Bahamian resort. The partnership will position SelvaRey as the “elevated option” for rum cocktails, with special beverage offerings available.
Furthermore, the brands will collaborate on various events, kicking off their partnership on Labor Day weekend this September with a party at Baha Mar’s adults-only pool, Privilege.
The Piña Colada Pool Party series will feature guest DJ performances from stars such as Pee .Wee, an alter ego of rapper Anderson .Paak, alongside a flagship day party hosted by Bruno Mars on Sunday 4 September. Other guest DJs include Ignite, Osocity and Stevie J.
“Tropical Luxury is what SelvaRey is all about and I couldn’t think of a better partner to bring that experience to life than Baha Mar,” said Mars.
Baha Mar is an over 1,000-acre resort complex located in the Bahamas’ capital city, Nassau, and opened in 2017.
Among other amenities, the property features a casino with 18 different types of table games such as blackjack, baccarat and roulette, over 1,000 slot machines and live sports betting provided by UK-based operator William Hill.
