All-women’s boxing event to feature bet365 as official betting partner

By Gambling Insider

The UK’s first televised all-women’s boxing event will feature bet365 as its official betting partner via the gambling firm’s partnership with boxing promotional company Boxxer.

Taking place on 10 September 2022 at the London O2 Arena, the event will feature an all-women line-up with an undisputed middleweight clash between Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall scheduled for the main card. The transatlantic bout is highly anticipated, with Savannah Marshall’s manager Mick Hennessy saying: “This has the potential to be the fight of the year worldwide.”

A bet365 spokesperson said: “Live on Sky Sports and brought to you by our partners at Boxxer, this event marks a defining moment in women's sport, and something we at bet365 are extremely proud to be a part of.”

As per the terms of the deal, bet365 branding material will be displayed throughout all pre-promotional activities. This will include press conferences, open workouts and weigh-ins, with “extensive in-arena exposure” on the night of the main event. The ring will feature bet365 branding on ropes and corners, as well as the ring canvas, arena barriers and the venue screens.

Through its partnership with Boxxer, bet365 will act as the official odds partner for the event, with exclusive odds and in-play opportunities available on the Boxxer platform. Additionally, bet365 branding will be used across the Boxxer digital and social media channels, with streams of Boxxer events available to select territories on the bet365 site.

In June 2022, bet365 secured a deal with Sports Information Services (SIS) to stream the 49’s Original Live Draw online to its millions of users across the globe.
