As per the terms of the partnership, Murphy will produce a range of both written and video content, including a new video series called ‘The Other Side of the Fence’ for Matchbook bettors.
Murphy said: “I am really excited to be teaming up with Matchbook and to have the opportunity to produce some innovative behind-the-scenes content. A huge amount of work goes into getting a horse to the races, and the opportunity to fully showcase the goings on at Warren Chase Stables is one that I’ve been keen on for some time.
“Matchbook has always been exceptionally supportive of British horseracing, and I’m proud to be associated with this up-and-coming brand.”
Matchbook, licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and the Gambling Commission, operates a peer-to-peer betting exchange offering users deeper liquidity and low commissions.
Matchbook CMO Eric Hegarty said: “Olly represents the next generation of trainers and has been earmarked for future success by some of the shrewdest pundits in the game.
“We’ve begun working on a video series with Olly in the last few weeks. We aim to give racing punters an all-access view of what it takes to be a racing trainer, encapsulating a season-long journey from Olly and his team's perspective.”
