FanDuel Group appoints Andrew Sneyd as Marketing EVP

In his new role, Sneyd will oversee marketing in FanDuel’s sports betting, daily fantasy sports, casino, advance-deposit wagering, retail, and free-to-play businesses.

His work will encompass growth marketing, media, customer engagement and marketing operations, with a focus on product marketing strategy, creative, customer insight, PR and partnership activation.

FanDuel CCO Mike Raffensperger said: “Since his arrival at FanDuel, Andrew has elevated our creative efforts and continued our explosive growth.

“His acumen for brand marketing has separated us from the field and under his leadership, I expect that we will continue to make moments matter more for our customers.”

Sneyd has over 20 years of global marketing experience, previously serving as Vice President of Brand Marketing and Strategy at Priceline. He has also held several senior positions at brewing company Anheuser Busch InBev.

Sneyd joined FanDuel in 2021, appointed as SVP of Brand Marketing. In this role, he helped strengthen FanDuel’s position in the American market and increase the company’s lead over its competitors.

In August, FanDuel named Carolyn Renzin as the new Chief Legal Officer, in a move that is set to “significantly expand” Renzin’s duties.

While continuing in her current role as Chief Compliance Officer, Renzin will now also be responsible for overseeing legal, risk, regulatory engagement, compliance and responsible gaming for the company; with her team working to ensure the operator continues to promote customer safety, security and compliance.
