PointsBet appoints Edward Hartman as Group Chief Strategy Officer
PointsBet has appointed Edward Hartman as Group Chief Strategy Officer, effective 6 September 2022.
Hartman was most recently EVP of Business Operations at the United States Football League and SVP of Digital Partnerships & Wagering at Fox Sports.
He has also held several other positions, including SVP of Corporate Development at Fox Corporation and SVP of Mergers & Acquisitions at News Corp.
Before this, Hartman was Managing Director at global investment management firm Caledonia, and spent over a decade at UBS.
Hartman will lead group strategy in his new role, working with PointsBet’s Global Leadership Team and the company’s Board of Directors.
Hartman’s goals are to enhance and execute the company’s strategy and vision, identify new opportunities and strengthen PointsBet’s operations.

The news follows PointsBet’s announcements yesterday (30 August 2022), when it firstly launched a sports betting newsletter in conjunction with Front Office Sports.
