Fubo Gaming, a subsidiary of sports live TV streaming platform FuboTV, has announced its participation and support for the American Gaming Association (AGA) Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM) in September.

Among the main purposes of the initiative, the most important ones are educating consumers regarding responsible sports betting, increasing awareness of problem gambling, promoting gambling literacy and evaluating employee training.

As part of its support, Fubo Gaming will be incorporating responsible gaming messages inspired by AGA’s “Have A Game Plan. Bet Responsibly” service campaign across all its social media channels, as well as its external-facing marketing assets.

The company has also launched an internal campaign to empower employees with important knowledge and tools that will ensure responsible gaming.

Additionally to supporting RGEM, the group is running a year-long responsible gaming education campaign and will continue to engage its employees with period refresher training, and user education programmes, as well as provide tools (including self-exclusion and limits) to ensure all players can enjoy a safe platform experience.

Scott Butera, President of Fubo Gaming, commented in regard to RGEM: “Fubo Gaming is proud to join the AGA in celebrating Responsible Gaming Education Month to amplify the importance of responsible gaming.

“We firmly believe social responsibility contributes to the best player experience. As professionals in the emerging sports wagering industry, it’s our responsibility to take a proactive approach toward responsible gaming initiatives, not only in September but throughout the year, to ensure long-term sustainability.”

Established in 1998 by the AGA, RGEM represents the US gaming industry’s annual celebration of responsible gaming.
