Yaamava’ Resort and Casino launches Light & Wonder’s new slot franchise

Yaamava’ Resort and Casino at San Manuel and Light & Wonder have announced the launch of a new slot franchise named Jewel of the Dragon.

The slot features hold-and-respin “what you see is what you get” mechanics.

The franchise currently includes three titles: Red Phoenix, Valley of the Tiger and A Thousand Warriors, with the first two already live at Yaamava’ Resort and Casino at San Manuel, and the latter set to debut later this year.

All three new slots use gems as indicators of the player’s progress toward the hold-and-respin goal, and they also act as triggers for smaller bonuses.

Kenji Hall, Yaamava’ Resort and Casino COO of Gaming, said: “We aim to offer a best-in-class gaming experience by continuously adding the newest slot machines to our 7,000-plus slot floor. Our players will be thrilled that they can be the first to experience this exciting new slot franchise.”

To celebrate the new slot, Yaamava’ Resort and Casino signed with content creator Brian Christopher, host of Brian Christopher Slots on YouTube and Facebook, to showcase the premiere.

Christopher commented: “It’s always super exciting for our fans to see us showcase brand-new games to them live! Getting that immediate feedback from them on the games really makes it an immersive experience!”

In August, Light & Wonder got creative wit the appointment of a new CPCO in Roxane Lukas.

In the same month, however, there were bigger personnel changes at the supplier as Barry Cottle stepped down as President & CEO.
