Founded in 2015, PropSwap is a peer-to-peer marketplace that allows bettors to buy and sell wagers.

SB22 will now integrate PropSwap’s marketplace, making it possible for operator partners to offer customers this trading function.

Anyone who places a legal sports wager in the US can list their tickets for sale, at a price they determine, and PropSwap helps them find a buyer.

“PropSwap is the leader in offering a seamless peer-to-peer secondary marketplace experience,” said Vik Shrestha, SB22’s Chief Commercial Officer.

“We are excited to work with the PropSwap team and integrate their solution to offer it to our clients.”

The so-called secondary sports betting market has grown alongside wagering in the US. For the last seven years, PropSwap has allowed customers to sell sportsbook tickets purchased at retail locations.

But while it will continue this retail service, PropSwap is now looking to expand into digital betting. As Ian Epstein, PropSwap Co-Founder, said: “This is an exciting day for sports bettors.

“As the landscape shifts towards a more mobile-focused environment, we are pleased to be able to offer our customers the ability to easily sell their digital bets.

“We are thrilled to be working with Vik and his team, who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the sports betting and iGaming industry.”

This news comes not long after SB22 announced that its Fi22 sportsbook platform has been certified by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI).
