Sports fans are now able to sign up with the sportsbook and deposit funds with an early registration offer.

Legalised sports betting starts on 1 January 2023, and gamers in Ohio will be able to place their first wagers from this date onwards.

Caesars President of Digital, Eric Hession, said: “Ohio’s rich tradition of sports excellence speaks for itself. Caesars Sportsbook is ready to match the pedigree and passion of Ohio sports fans with a sports wagering experience that treats them like royalty.”

Fans will also be able to sign up for the operator’s loyalty programme, Caesars Rewards. The scheme gives bettors Tier Credits and Rewards Credits for placing and winning bets, which can be used to unlock experiences.

These include discounted getaways, bonus cash or culinary experiences. The operator also provides access to tickets for NBA side Cleveland Cavaliers, one of its sports partners.

Caesars Sportsbook says its app provides multiple ways for players to deposit funds, make fast payouts and use features like live scoreboards, in-play betting options and same-game parlays.

The operator has a history in Ohio, offering entertainment experiences at horse racing and gaming destination Eldorado Gaming Downs in Columbus.

When sports betting goes live in the state in January 2023, Caesars will launch a sportsbook at the location, which will accept cash-deposit sports wagers.

What’s more, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino Truck will make stops at Scioto Downs to engage eligible sports fans in the build-up to sports betting going live in the state.
