Following the licence award, ONJN-approved remote operators can now offer SoftGamings’ sports betting and casino betting solutions on their platforms.

Anna Lalina, director of partnerships at SoftGamings, said of the new licence: “We are steadily pushing forward towards new regulated markets and gaining a foothold in new regions, and the ONJN licence we received is another testament to that fact. The licensing agreement resulted from years of hard work and dedication we invested in understanding the iGaming market and improving it.

“By recognising our client's and the market’s needs and, ultimately, learning how to align the two, we have devised solutions guaranteed to help our Romanian clients distinguish themselves from the competition. We are excited for all the new partnerships and projects that are bound to come out from this new milestone for the company.”

Earlier this year, Gamzix partnered with SoftGamings, a deal that saw Gamzix’s video slots become available for integration through SoftGamings’ unified API aggregation platform.

Aleksandr Kosogov, CEO of Gamzix, commented on the newly-signed agreement: “I’m excited about the cooperation with SoftGamings. Our professional team creates games with unique graphics and a huge choice of in-game features and activities that will definitely surprise SoftGamings clients.

Meanwhile, the ONJN also recently approved BGaming’s application for a Class II licence to operate in Romania.

After receiving the licence, BGaming CEO Marina Ostrovtsova commented on the award, saying: “We’re happy to resume our business in the Romanian market and see great opportunities for growth in the region.

“BGaming’s content matches all the country standards, and we’re delighted to provide high-quality games for local operators and thousands of Romanian players.”
