The package options to see the race from the grandstands currently come in two options; one is the Bellagio Grandstands, which offers seats overlooking the track. Second, is the Paddock Grandstands, which offers customers a view of the start/finish line and a look behind the scenes of the pit lane.
At the time of writing, the only way to ensure a seat in the stands is by purchasing access from MGM’s race-and-stay packages. Meanwhile, prices for standard rooms overlooking the Las Vegas strip at the Bellagio for three nights with Bellagio Grandstand tickets to the events are on sale for $5,455.
Steve Zanella, MGM Resorts' CCO, said of the promotion: "In just over a year, F1® fans from around the globe will see how Las Vegas throws a party. In addition to the Bellagio Grandstands, which will set new standards for event viewing, we will create a round-the-clock celebration worthy of this international spectacular."
The US company commenced a public tender offer to acquire all LeoVegas shares in May for SEK 61 ($5.73) per share. However, the success of MGM Resorts’ bid was subject to certain conditions.
These included the receipt of “regulatory, governmental or similar clearances, approvals and decisions,” a hurdle which the company has now cleared.
