Online gaming platform provider GAN began working with global hosting supplier Internet Vikings in April 2022 as part of a US expansion, with the latter being the first nationwide iGaming hosting provider approved in Nevada.
The two groups had previously been working together in two US states, but have now partnered up in 13 additional states, taking the total to 15.
GAN Director of B2B Sports Project Management Blake Riley commented: “Since the beginning of our agreement, Internet Vikings has proven to be a reliable and valuable partner.
“Their services complement our goals, and their support is a great asset to our business driving growth and maximising our potential in the US market.”
Internet Vikings commenced its US operations in early 2021, and since then has rapidly increased its presence in the market.
“This cooperation is the start of a significant partnership for both parties, and we are looking forward to scaling in more states,” said Internet Vikings Founder and CEO Rickard Vikström.
“Initially, the emerging US iGaming and online sports betting market was considered extremely hard to enter. However, the rapid progress of our project has demonstrated that success in the United States is possible with the right partner at hand.
“The partnership has laid a solid groundwork for other industry-related, both European and local, enterprises who wish to expand into and across the US market.”
Last month, GAN announced the resignation of Karen E Flores from her position as CFO and the company’s board of directors, effective 25 November.
