Games now available on, part of 888 Holdings, include Wanted Dead or a Wild, Joker Bombs and Hand of Anubis.

Hacksaw noted that other Italian operators are expected to go live with its games before the end of the year, with more expected to come in the first quarter of 2023. The group, reflecting on research from Statistica, added that the Italian gambling market generated over €15bn ($15.98bn) in GGR in 2021.

“We’re delighted to be able to offer our favourite and much-loved games to the Italian market through this partnership with leading international casino brand 888casino,” said Hacksaw Gaming CEO Marcus Cordes.

“We will expand quickly in Italy, which is just the latest territory that we’ve begun operating in. We’re planning to do great things in 2023 and this is just the sort of good news we wanted to keep our momentum going into the new year.”

The group has been expanding significantly in recent times, gaining licences in the likes of Romania, Spain, the Isle of Man and Ontario this year. The company is set to launch in the US in the first quarter of 2023, having been granted a provisional licence for the region in November 2022.

888 VP B2C Casino Talya Benyamini commented: “Partnering with leading suppliers like Hacksaw Gaming, and supplementing our portfolio of games with its exciting titles, is a core part of our product and content leadership strategy.

“We are excited to provide the best gaming experience for our players in our core market in Italy.”
