Rickard Vikstrom, Founder and CEO of Internet Vikings, said: “Internet Vikings already has a substantial client base in Pennsylvania. The Greentube project signifies a positive development for both our company and the local market.
“We have created a Vmware Tanzu offering for Greentube’s new platform in accordance with their request. When completed, Internet Vikings will make this service offering available to all iGaming and online sports betting businesses in other states too.”
Greentube required a very specific hosting setup to meet operational requirements. It needed hosting with Kubernetes capabilities to manage containerised workloads and services. As a solution, Internet Vikings proposed Managed VMware Tanzu-enabled hosting services.

Ottosson explained that the setup for Greentube in Pennsylvania is not like any other so far. However, creating bespoke solutions for each individual client is, according to him, one of the company’s pillars.
Internet Vikings commenced operations in the US in early 2021, while Greentube has had a prominent role in the gaming industry since 1998.
