BetJack joins the International Betting Integrity Association
Jack Entertainment has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), after launching its BetJack sports betting brand in Ohio.
BetJack is authorised to operate in the Buckeye State, which launched legalised sports betting at the start of this year.
The company joins a multitude of regulated sports betting operators in the world, with IBIA’s 40+ members and 100+ betting brands accounting for over $137bn (£112.8bn) in global betting handle per annum. This amount accounts for nearly 50% of all regulated commercial betting activity.
BetJack SVP of Sports and Gaming Adam Suliman commented: “We are excited to launch BetJack in Ohio and look forward to partnering with IBIA for their proven track record of providing critical integrity monitoring and protection services for the sports betting industry.”
IBIA CEO Khalid Ali reflected Suliman’s enthusiasm over the sports betting company joining IBIA’s ranks. He commented: “IBIA is delighted to welcome BetJack to the association. Maintaining the integrity of betting and related sporting events is a crucial part of the development of the sector in North America.
“BetJack’s decision to join IBIA and its commitment to sports betting integrity attest to its core principles. The operator continues IBIA’s expansion across the US regulated market and where our growing membership accounts for around 70% of all regulated online sports betting revenue.”
The IBIA presents itself as a global voice on integrity for the licensed betting industry. It is run by operators to safeguard the industry and prevent its members from becoming involved in corrupt practices, through collective action.
It represents the gambling sector at high-level policy discussion forums such as the UN, Council of Europe and European Commission.
