Since the state lottery implemented the platform, it has seen more than $2m in retail sales – the first-time sales have reached that amount – from games priced in the $1, $2, $5 and $10 brackets.

Since it first launched, five additional games have been added to continue to boost the figures across Oklahoma.

Jay Finks, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Lottery, said: “Our new FastPlay games offer Oklahoma players the fun of progressive jackpots combined with the thrill of the opportunity to win instantly. FastPlay is a great, innovative addition to our product portfolio that complements the entertainment experience offered by our Scratchers and draw games."

Meanwhile, John Schulz, President of Americas and Global Instant Products at Scientific Games, added: “FastPlay games, which we have branded as our PlayNow Games, are a relatively new and exciting lottery experience for the consumer.

“These unique games were planned as a strategic addition to the Oklahoma Lottery’s portfolio to help drive sales across the portfolio and create incremental revenues to benefit schools, students and teachers in the state.”

In other recent news, Scientific Games partnered with Staatliche Lotterie-und Spielbankverwaltung (Lotto Bayern) to power its retail and digital sales transactions.

The supplier will also provide Lotto Bayern, which operates the Bavarian state lottery in Munich, with its gaming systems solution, Symphony.

This new gaming system will be used to power the Bavarian state lottery’s 3,300 retail points-of-sale and all digital sales.
