First, Joe Billhimer has been named Chief Operating & Development Officer after being promoted from his prior role as EVP/PA Casinos for Cordish Gaming.
Billhimer was also the acting General Manager of the Live Casino & Hotel in Philadelphia, a role which will now be taken by Craig Clark – who becomes the new EVP & General Manager.
Secondly, Ryan Eller will now serve as the EVP & General Manager of the Live Casino & Hotel in Maryland.
Rob Norton, President of Cordish Gaming Group, said of the multiple new appointments: "As the company prepares to experience exponential growth in the coming years, these appointments position us to maximise results at our existing operations while pursuing development and management opportunities in other gaming jurisdictions.
“Joe, Craig and Ryan are well suited to maintain the same level of excellence and customer service our guests have come to expect at Live Casinos and Hotels."
All of the new appointments are effective immediately, though are still subject to regulatory approval.
Petersburg Mayor Sam Parham said: "The details show what the city's vision is for this type of project and why we wanted to work with Cordish as the developer.
"An important part of our selection process was to identify a development partner with a proven track record in developing and operating mixed-use and casino properties, a long history of revitalising cities across the country and strong community engagement practices."
