With this acquisition, Planet Sport, the media company behind titles including Football365, Teamtalk and PlanetF1.com, intends to expand its offering of betting information and create new subscription options for its users.

Over 100,000 betting recommendations are processed and verified each month by Tipstrr, a platform that gathers, verifies and accredits sports betting advice from professionals. As each tip is made, the odds are tracked and the profitability of the tip selections is recorded over time.

By incorporating Tipstrr's capabilities and attributes, Planet Sport aims to expand its business by bringing on a new tech team, strong betting content, a base of registered active customers, and a variety of reliable sports betting tipsters.   Damien Fearn, Tipstrr's Founder, said: “Joining Planet Sport allows us to reach a much wider audience and offer genuine value to more sports fans across the globe. The Tipstrr team and I are looking forward to growing as part of the Planet Sport network.”   Barrie Jarrett, CEO of Planet Sport, added: “We are delighted to now welcome Damien and the great Tipstrr team to Planet Sport and we are looking forward to the acquisition delivering further growth for the business in 2023."   Recently, Planet Sport made its debut in the Indian market, where it will be offering services to operators, suppliers and affiliates interested in the region.   Elsewhere in the iGaming M&A world, a huge story developed this week that saw super affiliate Better Collective acquire a >5% position in Catena Media.
